It's an angry poem about the media over dramatizing the big disaster and ignoring much more horrifying daily reality. A hundred years later, nothing has changed. Thanks for this episode. Yes - look at Houston, apparently there are no zoning laws. A chemical plant explodes som years ago inthe middle of residential buildings in Texas, and as a result the state has stoppe the requirement of chemical plants to list what chemicals they are storing to the public. In large swaths of Texas the underfundes fire departments have to deal with the fact the it is ILLEGAL to implement a fire code, even in chemical plants! <a href="http://bit.ly/2x3k6Bl" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://bit.ly/2x3k6Bl</a> - Boy, I hope the Texans enjoy the free enterprise!
