2024 is the year where my first ever summary matches up. date wise. The difference of 2014 vs 2024 is very stark needless to say haha. The difference between 2024 and 2023 is much smaller though in terms of NSFW.

For SFW works I improved a ton. Made a 3D workable model that access in VRChat. Made videos which got more views and discussion than any works I've done here. Literally had to work to get people to stop just calling me a tiktoker cause 100K+ folks saw me there and 11K+ folks stayed . Learned more Spanish. Explored the world more including driving across the golden gate bridge (apparently it's a toll bridge, who knew!) That means a ton of me.

Next year I will need to return to my actual review process of how I grew and need to improve upon for my works. Given my works are overall similar to my 2023 self, I'll continue the personal talk once more for this 2024.

I've very much enjoyed handling traditional mediums more. With how our histories are converging, I'm trending towards wanting tangible outcomes more. To be cringe, I crave the real. Of course digital files are just as tangible of a medium as pencil and paper, even if to the average user it might as well be accessing the far off rain clouds. I enjoy the trend of both my works having a wider range of colors/ decisive lines/ clearer direction and also being messy/monotone/ decayable. I'm delighted for years this Koor kept the goofy weird kinky works abound. That I have the drive to keep that growing.

However, I would be dishonest if I said I was happy with this year's work. I am happy with what I produced, yet I am displeased by the amount completed. I could have done more. I should have done more.

Last summary I mentioned a big unnamed personal event and it'll stay unnamed but that ghost is still a tension in my life. It is objectively better and it is safer now, but family norms and desires don't make it easy to address the very blatant problems. Even though everyone is in clear agreement on what the specific problems are. This statement is more for a future Koor than you dear reader, because I know an older Koor will have the hindsight I do not possess. There are days I don't use my phone due to a new message. Days I've lost talking to people who mean well but create a destructive environment. Times of being cursed with training the skill of managing visual for art also being the same mechanism to recall distressing memories. Days where I pretend to write for others because I need an excuse to allow myself to speak myself without feeling useless. Again I'm ultimately fine, even if a lifetime has lead to a few more scraps and cracks than I would have desired at the age of 30. If art is the mirror of one's self corporealized, I hope the vampire's folklore does not falter.

Much of the time "lost" is honestly not spent on the past. My time is spent on the future I desire to live in, even if I do not always handle the management of said time the best. I just need healthier methods of that time management without my normal stressing mode. Knowing myself I know this year and the next few will give me opportunities to test those methods

2025 will have big progressions for my life. It's not a question of if but when. How much agency a Koor has over the when depends on how much you've converted your willing into drive. You have 3 decades of experience doing just that, what's one more?

Like I said last summary... Philosophically, I believe the self dies every nanosecond. Each person a system that tracks an artificial ghost they narrativized to be reality. 3D creatures are only capable of living in the present, which inherently means the past is always disconnected. Laid to rest in an untouchable frame of time you might have jotted down in your organic matter. The Koor that made the art, videos, this summary, is dead. An echo of what existed is what you see, read, hear. What you do with that information is entirely what time frame you're on.

Summaries are just that, a narrative condensed into what this dead koor thought was important to show. When I tell some that, it sounds morbid. To me, it's very freeing. Every choice made gets to be your own forever and always. A unique moment no one else gets to share like that version of you did. Unique moments you're allowed to choose can stay frozen in time without you peering back into them.

I'll be my weird self do the abnormal ending that's fitting. Have a nice new years Koor ʕ •̀ω•́ʔ✧

"Looking back at my older summaries is cringe worthy and endearing. Mostly cringey, cant wait to cringe at this summary one day." -Koorivlf 2016
