May 2019 Update (Patreon)

This is the fifth month of this Patreon and everything is still going strong  💪 🐯  Thank you all so much for helping to support of my artwork!~!

1st, To start off, I added rewards to the Almost As Pure As Koor tier which will go into effect from this month onward.

The first reward is a discount on commissions. It's a 5% discount on any commission you'd buy, excluding things such as auctions (cause that's a massively unfair advantage) and $1 coms (it's a dollar). If you're on that tier for 3 consecutive months then the discount is 10% instead! This discount can stack if you order a commission with other patrons. The stacking limit is 25%.

The second reward is a personalized thank you message the first time you become much more pure. It'll be similar to something like this:

...except it'll say thank you and will be of your sona or an animal you want me to sketch!

I'll be sending out the google form in the next couple of days to anyone on that tier and will start working on those after I get the info back!

Hopefully these are good rewards for the Almost As Pure As Koor tier!!!

2ndly-do-dle: Last month some plans changed so I did not get the work done that I wanted to, as seen from my non Tuesday uploads. This month has an unexpected pop up but unless that changes too, I have 2 ½ weeks to work like normal. This means I can do coms batches, assets for my audio/video content, more templates, and work on my comic gosh darnnit.

3rd-a-rino: I'M GONNA DO FREE RAFFLES ON TWITTER AND FURRYNETWORK

There's gonna be a separate post about it on here so tldr: Koor is angry at FA's lack of features and other things + 10k followers on twitter is reachable waaaa + extra stuff

4th-Koorth?: So it only took 4 months. The bad thing happened. Some of the content was ripped from this site and ported to another. I feel like I should be flattered that the internet pirating machine thought I was worthy to pirate so quickly. Although reading the forums, it's more so art made by someone like me is worthless cause "it takes no effort to draw and what not". Unsurprisingly, the people who think capitalism is great because you always make money doing something valuable with your time (like a company selling cigarettes makes money this is good because people want it), don't think that making money on art is valuable in their eyes and wish to "fix" that. I already knew this would happen by such people, I will try to stop it in the future but Patreon does not give great tools to figure out who dun didit. I think patreon's own system found the person and removed them so hopefully nothing else gets ported.

Everything is still staying the same like I've said before when I started this Patreon(I had already been planning to add to the $10 tier, the timing of this just happened to line up lol). There's nothing I can really do to protect the stuff without making everyone jump through hoops, making a lot more work for myself, and upping the cost of having a Patreon by owning software and storage to spot the 1 person being a butt. DRM doesn't work and isn't a good experience, unless you're a pirate and have removed the DRM...

Ultimately this Patreon is to help me create more furry content and for you to get something in return. I'm going to make sure the Patreon is focused on that.

Well, that should be all for this month. I don't think there's a furry holiday this month but I will most likely be proven wrong. If you happen to know the holiday let me know, I may draw a thing for it!

Again, thank you all for being patrons! If you have any thoughts or questions about what I've said let me know here or in DMs. I'm always very open to improving stuff or clarifying the things I do.
