December Update 2019 (Patreon)

This is the twelfth month of this Patreon aka a full year once we reach the end of the month!!! Thank you so much for your support throughout this year. >:3 The next one will hopefully be even better!

Behind on Stuff

I did a lot last month! Some of that was life maintenance and holiday times. Some of that was just poor time management. I'm going to assume this month will be similar since Christmas, MFF, etc. I'm still working hard to get stuff done but ya. In the future I'll have to plan for this time of year better. Speaking of MFF...

I became a Twitch Affiliate!

Aka a professional hardcore gamer(JK)! I have really become a twitch affiliate so I will be doing more gaming streams. Maybe art streams when I become less nervous. I was gonna try to become an affiliate some other time because there are requirements you have to meet to get it. However, I underestimate how much support there'd be xD. It's good to have now so ya! Expect more gaming streams!

Changing Informal Cutoff For Monthly Art!

I informally wanted some of the artwork I post each month to match certain ideas from thing like polls, holidays, etc. Especially since now I do YCH off of polls sometimes. Holidays make sense to hit cause...timing. However, I think it negatively impacts me to try and get certain ideas, like poll ideas, done certain months. Being late with work bothers me greatly. I am slow so sometimes it does happen, but I don't think it's healthy for Patreon to be one of those sources of such feelings. I generally try to get stuff done so that those who stop support can see it. Sometimes people have finical issues and I think it'd be nice for them to see the stuff. However, most people seem to come back when they can and those who stop their support forever understand they get public posts only.

From that, I think it's healthier overall if I drop that informal rule. Producing art those can see is better than beating myself up about people who may not care to see it. So, things like poll artwork may be a month behind, etc but in return I won't beat myself up for being late to something no one really knew I was late to. I do still want to strive to have things on time (just more kindly to myself) because that's just good practice and makes me feel better anyway. 

I just have to remember to drop the informal rule which is why I'm writing this lol

General

- Gonna try to do a Full Christmas and New years Pic

- Will make a short short video on the Youtube in prep for me doing the real deal

- I will try to be recording a podcast this month but I may push it back to next year so that I can practice the setup more than once.

- Finish the stuff I needed to last month!
