Recently I released a sketch about details for the horned tycoons. I latched onto horned tycoons for a lot of reasons but one of them was because of my experiences with race issues. I was/am going to put that into the tycoon info even though anyone who would make a tycoon would most likely pass over it. It was purely for me to be able to discuss stuff in the future in a kinder way that I enjoy its framing more.
I bring this up because I'm a private person, I've had enough discussions in my life about race to realize it's no one else's business but mine. I enjoy being seen as an individual because there have been times in my life where I wasn't viewed as a person or that I was lesser. I've been pretty lucky to avoid a lot of suffering though and I am very grateful for that.
But it shouldn't require a sona or a lot of hard work to present myself to the world so that I can just been seen as myself. Shouldn't and doesn't are two different words though.
I'm not going to be like one of the people that says if you're a racist you can't support me. To be blunt, the disconnect of a perceived me vs actual me sometimes clicks some switches in people's heads to stop being racist because I break the false idea of race in their head. Also, I do try to donate to different causes throughout the year so I will not cry if a racist's money goes towards blm type charities or the regular stuff I donate to.
I would however like people to understand that being silent is not an option. Silence is what made me suffer for years, because I was in an environment where I didn't have the tools to understand what was going on, while still experiencing racism. Eventually leading to me seeing myself as worthless and having a false sense of reality. It took a lot of experiences and knowledge to correct that. It took a lot of time to feel fine with myself.
It is a disgrace that society allows that to happen in the first place. And there are people who suffer more. That should be unthinkable and people live through that every day. We have to do better.
No matter who you are, read up on why BLM exists, the history of racism in your country, and talk to your friends and family. Yes, even if they don't want to hear it, because PoC don't want to experience the racism they've had to endure anymore. IT WAS NEVER OK IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! "Not talking about it" is just kicking the can down the road again.
World-wide Staycations Update

Status: Pissed, a bit sad, still in good health though.
I've been better. Some days with the news and trying to do stuff it can be a lot more taxing than normal. I would be lying if I said it hasn't gotten to me some days. I'll be fine ultimately but we'll see if the aliens come in 2020.
An Update On Sales Tax
Patreon should have sent out a notice via email about the sales tax update. I'm looking over the info Patreon has sent me for setting up the tiers correctly. They supplied me with a sample post copy last month and I shortened it, here it is again:
Due to new laws passing in several countries, Patreon will be required to charge sales tax on certain pledges starting July 1st, 2020. Depending on your location & pledge type/reward, sales tax may be applied (less than half of all patrons will be affected).
The money Patreon collects as a result of the new laws will be paid directly to the local government(s). I will be working with Patreon to make sure that the sales tax is applied correctly so that the overall money you're giving to Patreon intended to help support my works is not needlessly taxed.

General
- I released another knoty dog page. I've been working on the pages out of order like a dummy so it'll still be a minute before I do the release plan, but I thought another page would at least be nice for the wait. Once I finish coms I will probably heavily restrict those slots so I can focus on all the stuff here. Speaking of which:
- I got a lot of new TY Notes I need to do, so I do them over time so that I am able to work on other stuff as well. I intended TY Notes to be a nice gesture for being so pure, not the main reward. If you filled out the form, you'll get the ty note! Please do not flood my TY note list with re-submissions. If you're wondering if your form went through, feel free to DM me. I don't vore, so you know I won't bite.
- :D I ordered the VR headset so that'll be a thing that I can stream in like... 6 months xD. There's a long wait but it's still great. owo I literally couldn't have done it so quickly without many people's help.
