"Just a quick sketch of koorivlf studying for tests because college  professors seem to coordinate their test days to be right next to each  other -.-"

It is very true, if you're ever in college the professors absolutely talk and somehow come to the conclusion of "what if we give our biggest projects at the same time, and make them due on the same day!!!" This would of been my community college classes so it was a lot of boring homework too haha.

Fun fact, the public version is the monochromatic value picture because I really disliked how my coloring was going. This picture was made 4-ish months into drawing so the concept of relative colors was still something I needed to internalize. But if you get values right a picture can look nice because that's what humans use to see the world.

So it makes sense past koor would go down that route. Yes the values are still bad but it was good for the time

But ya, always remember that green is actually a really weird color to deal with because of how much the surroundings can change it's context. Example: At night with a monitor light which I was trying to do, like a silly boy

A better example is what grass lookings like with sun light/the sky vs nighttime with artificial light
The actual colors present may surprise you! No really, color drop that shit from pictures. Grass aint green. Touch grass? More like fuck grass! NOT LIKE THAT LIKE THE AGGRESSIVE WAY YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN

Kabbalist

You've come a long way since then, but I feel an immense upwelling of sympathy for that young critter. College was a while back for me (which somehow always surprises me), but I have vivid memories of assignment clumping. It sucked. For some reason I really like the way you positioned his hand on the pen. It just looks right to some part of my brain. On grass: less smooth jazz, more screaming electric guitars, got it! Remember to use protection, because grass burrs are nasty, nasty things.

As a man who has a community college degree I fully agree and remember those times lol.
