"I created this series off/on for about a year while observing right-wing content
TLDR: The right is afraid. They're fueled by fear. It's annoying to watch when all that fear does is hurt themselves & those around them
Luckily we can soften their harm with their inflation fetish"

I've had this in the works for a year-ish. Some of the earlier panels I posted here are updated a bit. I've know what to write about for a long time, that parts easy, but how to phrase it has been the hard part.

Basically, it's been known for a while that fear is the main conclusion to most right-leaning ideas. Everyone has a bit of fear, if you're not afraid of say climate change then you're gonna be surprised later/now. Fear is an indicator that past humans to avoid the situations that killed other humans. We still use this skill to learn, which is how we get things like languages or tiktok fail compilations.

Fear isn't inherently bad, it just should never be the goal/solution.

The right only works off of fear.  Monarchy is the fear of letting people ruling over their own lives, for conflict arises from a finite resource world or differing interests. Segregation is the white's fear of having more competition for opportunities, because our society rewards winners not those with merit. Etc etc. You can take any topic that considered right wing and it generally boils down to they're afraid->what stops the fear. It's why most of such ideological solutions suck or don't follow science/logic/empathy/anything.

They're there to win so they can ignore the problem. So long as the solution comforts them, even if it's temporary, they'll take it. A LOT OF THESE PROBLEMS WERE THE SOLUTIONS THE FEW WANTED. Kings liked being kings with the lords loving to be lords. Having control over much of the land and the resources they could acquire. Having a white only town with a white picket fence surrounding a golden lab playing with 2 kids as the father and mother relaxed outside was literally the American dream.

Conservatism conserves. Progressing means losing the solution they fought for. Thus the only progress is turning greedier which is how you get ideologies like fascism.

Thus, part 1 is the grabber, part 2 is the answer, 3/4 is my annoyance. I wanted part 4 to be a rebuttal however that requires individual talks with people or long extensive explanations in bite sized chunks. Not a 4 parter most people won't read unless part 2 calls them out hard enough in a way they feel is correct. That depends on the individual though.

For everyone else, remembering that fear is their main fuel can help one understand where all their points come from. If we remember that, we can stop their fears and hopefully get them to be better people. No amount of giving them sources, logic, etc will work if they're crying in the corner about LGBT+ people being groomers or whatever they're on about when you're reading this. Part 1 still works to this day because their topics change, but their arguments always stay afraid.

If  right wingers do get that far through part 4, I did actually put down another longer explanation in large chunks. One of my favorite podcasts is about how the worst people in history were humans with goals. That the worst people in history were also people's favorite grandpa who made them pancakes every sunday. That progress didn't happen for no reason. That some of that progress was in fact by people being evil lil shits and others reacting to stop it, like what's happening in the modern day. Modern humans are similar to those in the past, but with smartphones now

Having a history lesson in the form of a individual's life story that connects in the same way someone is living right now, and directly saying "This person was a bastard" can convert some of the modern bastards life story to end on a fonder note through someone else's lens of history. Especially since some of the stories are just entertaining to listen to in a dark humor sort of way

Man I'm sorry about this. I'm right wing libertarian and most of those points seem like bullcrap or right wing authoritarian policies. So sorry about folks like him cause most of us are just normal folk willing to have causal discussion.

A lot of USA right wing is like this, just to different degrees. This one is an amalgamation of many people, which the talking points are bullcrap for sure And for sure rightwing people are willing to have casual discussions, but those discussions tend to be destructive. Like my mentioning of segregation is a thing I had to listen to a lot being a PoC, and that debate still happens to this day. I can debate for PoC existence but not having an agreement on equal rights means my life is worse. There's no way to be casual about that

Gotcha. If you have any points you aren't sure about I could certainly talk (in a more respectful and less likely to get myself inflated tone) about them. I have a unique perspective being gay as well in this.

I'm generally not confused by right wing talking points, but if you have a point you think I have misjudged you can mentioning it on my twitter/the patreon discord

Gotcha. Truthfully I'm not here to debate your opinions/judgements, I'm just here for horny. I just wanted to let you know that not all of us are annoying lol.

Honestly wish I could construct agruements/ideas like this...whenever I try to have discussions like this I get all confuddled, stuttering, and such drawing blanks on key things. In general I have a hard time.conveying my.ideas without it coming out not exactly how I wanted....usually just soooooooo boring and all over the place 😅😅😅😅
