I'm certain I saw a picture of a dessert valley and wanted to turn it into a grassy one.
The values are muddy so it's hard to tell where the foreground, middle ground, and background are.

It's one of my weakest paintings for this series. However I did like enough to add it to some other projects, although back then too I knew there were errors I didn't know how to fully fix. Nowadays, after just having been in such an area like this, I would divide the scene with values and take advantage of atmospheric perspective!
