August 2022 Update (Patreon)

TLDR = My Birthday is tomorrow! Portland neat. Video/Game is a thing.

This Month's Holidays

- The 4th is a big bow day. Not a fan of Bow's Game company maybe doing take down, so it's a nice holiday cause the char is cool! Not great for time management lol
- My Birthday🎈🍰 (Tomorrow, the 7th) I'll be 28 years old!
- The 8th is a day yes
- Typhlosion Day (The 9th)
- Smaugust 🐲 all month!
- Doggust 🐕 is also all month!

Portlands

A lot of my pictures became video so I can use it for b-roll in videos! So I need to shift through that to show some of the times off lol

Otherwise been checking out the place a lot! Trying to meet up with people here. Find neat places to see. Eat new food. Etc

This is the last month here. Time flies really fast haha

Side Projects

I got 2 side projects to discuss

One of the projects I wanted to complete this month was videos! It'd be nice/good to have video channels for my SFW for a myriad of reasons, including producing different types of NSFW content here. >3> Cause I still need to figure out how some tools work.
However, I've also had the problem of getting videos to look the way I want. Some is just monetary costs, some is just personal art direction being thought about, some is just focusing on other important things thus coming back to see the issues.
The biggest issue being the stills. I keep just not liking my stills lol. I'm also not quick at them so that also doesn't help especially with the way I want to implement them.

Then the tablet's 3D producing software has come along and made me realize I... should switch to 3D for some of this. It's harder up front but gets the results I want plus it's easier to hand off a 3D file to be worked on by others than finding an artist who can replicate my work.

This also makes a lot of other aspects I had problems with not as bad. However, this also means starting way back again. Which means delaying videos yet again.

Which is silly. >3> It would overall just help to produce videos, even if they're not perfect or even "better" than others visually in the current ecosystem. So I am proceeding with the new stuff however I am also just gonna do some simple easy to make videos that still have substance but don't require so much upfront work that it'll basically never get out in a reasonable time. So, I'm making it much more reasonable.

If such videos pop off too then I can reinvest that money/work into the process thus getting to the end goal faster anyway. So ya...

The other project I have as a mini-side project is programing! Coding is something I enjoy doing and is a skill I should improve/would just be good in general to do. My current happens are on 2 proto-type games that could be played on a web browser in the future!

Pet Paw is a game where you massage paws through mastering correct paw petting actions! Make customer happy to have their paws graced by your own paws!

The prototype currently is actually pretty viewable for the base idea. The main draw would be visual but underlying aspect really just requires reading up on how to properly implement features. 

TF Adventure is a text adventure game where by going on an adventure will probably change you!

This is harder to program for however, I have some story ideas that I think would be cool to tell through this game! It'd be set paths to get certain transformations with different paths to explore over time. If set up correctly,  I could keep adding new stories, artwork, etc. It is in the prototyping stage so we'll see!

Hopefully it works out cause I personally think the idea would go over well! If I can get a functional build that showcases what I want then I'll release it!

Both of these projects will start off SFW just because... most services don't like NSFW stuff on their sites. However the TF adventure has absolute potential for NSFW aspects so again, if the build works and things go well, I'll add spicy stuff to them at a later date!

General

- I don't have much else to report besides just trying to chug along!

- I have been using my tablet more being on the go. I'll be more computer centric when I get back home however there are tasks I need to complete on the PC sooooo I do need to sit down for that more haha

- I haven't really had the opportunity work on my other models that I want to add to VR games. Still some due to skill and some due to not accessing the computers. However doing sculpting has helped a lot with... well sculpting.  Which I think is good before going through the hell that is dealing with some 3D shenanigans

- >3> visiting a place is hard cause there's so much to do in a short amount of time
