Ideas/WIP/3D Model/Series/Sketches & Lines: Oct 16th 2022 (Patreon)

For 3D work I hit a wall for the more technical aspects. >3> Cause they're a pain

The bones/weight painting is fine. This is the lad having the bones

Which I got to by first loading up a model idea I had a while ago and trying to retopologize it. I did it poorly BUT I DID IT

But ta da, I got it to work. As you can see it's much more blocky than before. I believe the count was around 7k polys. >3> which is scary cause it looks real bad LOL. In the future I need to find 3 different types of retopos, one for platforms like the quest, one for PC, and one for pure animation

After some oops, and a few "I've done this before I don't need to replicate it now" I got the model into VRChat! If I can get it into VRC then I can get it into anything :3


Besides some of the topology having a bad time, plus the eyes being in the wrong place, it animated correctly. I got through the whole main process thus >:3c The plan

I still want to make accessories, however my current program where I do most of my work isn't the best for designs. Blender is better for that. Nomad is better for sculpting, at least for me.

So I'm going to try and make models to use cause
1) I would like to make a Koor, keith, zack, etc
2) Having those models, specifically put into a higher res, can be good for both sfw and nsfw animations
3) It'd be nice to have more popular digital goods to purchase. This is one of those products I can also update in the future!

So that's my plan. Humanoid Model down. Non-humanoid haha funny model to go next

I think I mentioned this before but if I haven't, I have learned yet another program to do more vector work. For SFW stuff at least, vector is much more editable than my normal stuff, thus allowing for easier collaborations with other people. This also works with the 3D models which is why I like the 3D direction a lot.

I want to actually use this for NSFW art as well, however I now need to find a vector animator so I can pair that with the video editor I have.... It's a whole thing
