June 2023 Update (Patreon)

This is the fifty-fourth month of the Patreon! It's scary how it's already the 6th month of the year. It goes by too fast! Thank you everyone for your support! It means a lot!

Sorry About The Lack of Posts

In the next section I'll explain why I haven't outputted as much as I normally do this month. I wanted to say sorry about said lack of output. Thank you all for your patience, I'll be trying to put out a lot more works out towards end of this month!

Will AI Take Over Furry Commissions?

This is a topic I get the feeling most people are indifferent about but it is important for my artwork/this patreon existence/etc

To become a Youtube Partner, I need to hit a high amount of Public Watch Hours. Video making is fun. Professionally however, I need to diversify how I earn money to support my general life and I feel youtube can help with that

The Internet is becoming more hostile towards NSFW content. With furries also possibily becoming part of the "culture war", it seems like it'll be harder to maintain. Patreon is great because y'alls support is what allows me to do what I do. However, how long Patreon lasts is always questionable + to maintain this Patreon requires work beyond just drawing and hoping people have the extra money to support my works or have a work they're interested in to not leave. Along with the stress of needing to perform the art task which at points I don't feel like I do well enough or don't feel proud enough to put out isn't always the best situation...

Youtube can help with this patreon in a few ways:

- YT advertises my videos for me using scarily precise metrics it tracks
- YT find the comnpany advertisers which generate money
- SFW content can inherently access a larger group of people who may support my works as well
- I can access other resources for creating artwork in general
- There more types of content I know how to create

AKA, I'm been trying to find ways to continuing doing the art here without all the current fumbles or future issues I'll have. Haven't been able to make 2K which has been my goal for 5-ish years.

Doing prints, stickers, etc is something I'd like to do as well. However NSFW complicates that a bit/requires more money and my SFW art tends to get indifference from most people putting me in a non-transformative pickle.

Focusing purely on Patreon stuff can also help (and I really want to do) but that's still a gamble currently. There's a few works that I know would pop off but again, I want to be proud to put out an idea not just do it cause money. Especially with sites attempting to supress posts/not having a high user base meaning said works may still flop.

Videos are hard and a gamble too. But longterm could help a lot if successful.

Since watch time accural only last a year (I released the musk video months ago), people are starting to make the points I've made, and not finishing said video also is stressing me out.

So I just finished it. Basically, I need to update the credits and I've fixed a few errors I saw in the current render. Otherwise it's done.
+ I redid the audio because I learned my mic was broken during the recording. You can hear the difference at the ending via an earlier released version
+ All the images are updated
+ Scenes are updated
+ Tried to introduce 3D into the mix to speed up the process, took longer so that was a bit of an oops but it looks nice
+ Other fixes like background colors were done

Took longer than the week I had planned, little sad about that BUT IT'S DONE AND THAT'S WHAT MATTERS

It's a great video. I know for I worked stupidly hard on it. I'll be linking it in a different post because if you're indifferent or a "I'll only watch this once" sort of person. Please watch it during its public release not early release. That helps me the most to secure that partnership!

Artwork in general

I really did just work on video stuff and that's it. Cause I was trying to just complete a thing instead of my current switching between stuff strategy. With only the credits needing to be checked then inputed, I'm going back to only focusing on art stuff then next week deal with the credits

Some artwork is near completion so I'll make more post than normal next week!

Future YCH Auction

Still need to do auction stuff but I want to finish other works I need to do first.

When I do the auction stuff though, I may try multiple types of auctions. Still need to decide on that. Definitely want to do the current idea I have, but it is a weirder idea so going with a more generalized NSFW thing would be smarter to do.
