I feel like there should be a little bit of a trigger warning. For some reason I started talking about my newly found obsession with True Crime Podcasts so I retell two of the stories I have listened to. If you don't like that kinda stuff I would stop listening as soon as you hear the words "True Crime" :D

I say "You know what" painfully often in this audio. Please don't take this as an invitation for irresponsible drinking games.

Have you seen Drunk History on Comedy Central? (Fucking hilarious if you haven’t.) You could do a Slightly Tipsy True Crime Podcast. Bam! Instant hit! 😎

Julia

This was fascinating. I definitely need to check out other true crime podcasts. And your long ramble audios - chef’s kiss 🤌🏻☺️

thatbitch

I truly don't know why i decided to listen to this in the middle of the night 😐 never mind the first part with the bus thing was so fucking relatable cuz it happened to me just this morning while going to college. I waited and waited and then decided to walk to college and the freaking bus decided to drive past me when I was in the middle of the two fucking bus stops. 🙂

Susan

I love mord auf ex - you should see them live! 👍

Aquaa

Your voice is so relaxing Noah😌

starry_eyed

Oh my, I am a lover of true crime stories (a freakin lunatic about this) and I know the stories 🤩🤩 you are hilarious telling the story.

starry_eyed

I'd love to hear more of your podcasts (?) of that length.

Skeletor

Great storytelling style.

Hello from 2026! Ooooh, I absolutely love the story about Jenelle Potter (a.k.a Kathleen). What I really liked was the plot twist at the end, when you realize that not everything was as it seemed from the very beginning. When I first heard this story on my favorite true crime podcast, I couldn’t stop talking about it and telling everyone I knew about it. I thought my coworkers were going to kill me 😅 I totally get it. Bye! 👋🏻

S.N.P

Omg it’s my birthday in like 8 minutes and now I can start it off with you rambling about true crime cases ( which I’m also obsessed with) have a great night!

DaveysMate

Hello Noah! Good evening (for me). I’m glad you’re back! (:

LilacW

An hour long ramble? I'm here for it. Also, why would you incept the drinking game?! 😂 Wasn't even thinking about it but now it's like a challenge. I'm behind on your audios. But I enjoy rambles immensely so I'll be listening to you at work. 😇 I- had the same existential crisis during an internship. I was sitting in a lab doing tests and I stared at the tiles and had a moment of crisis. I realized I did not want to be in a lab for the rest of my life. So...I left that lab and changed discipline the same day. Alright...gotta go back to work. Will keep listening.

The master’s thing hits home. I did all the coursework but stopped right before doing my thesis last year. Yes, did the whole existential crisis thing “WTF am I doing? Is this really important in my life in the middle of a pandemic?” I have problems stepping away from things without being riddled with guilt (I don't even know why) so I had to go to counseling for this. I would have nightmares about typing my research and professors for months. I decided, with the help of the counselor, not to do the thesis FOR NOW. I still can’t tell myself that it’s a final decision. 🥲 I think I need to get a drink so early in the week. Damn.

xsetysz

i love your ramble videos omg

xsetysz

and it’s an hour… i get to sit here and listen to noah talk for an hour😣😣😣 lucky me i guess

Saturn

i think the word you’re looking for is ✨shot✨ like taking a shot of tequila or something

bagelbun

I love true crime too and have been for years, if you need any recommendations for podcasts to listen to you should check out “Rotten mango” by stephanie soo! She tells the stories very well

Bibi

Noah honey, you could talk at 10X and you'd still sound great! ♥️ Yes, you could totally take True Crime and create your own version of something that would be very interesting and listenable. If you're swept up in it, and love it, you've already got a great foundation.

Saya J

You’re the best storyteller! Glad you’re back and I hope you enjoyed your vacation.

LilacW

So...I was staying late at the office and was on my own while listening to this. And just as you were revealing who was behind the emails, a loud voice screamed from behind me. "WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING HERE?!" I shouted back "JESUSF*CKINGCHRISTHOLYSHIT!!" as I kept myself from jumping out of my seat. My heart was beating out of my throat. It was my boss. She came back to meet with a client. Saw me with my earphones, so focused on the computer. Decided to play a trick on me. Fuuuudge. 😂 That was a laugh and a half! Lol. Anyhoo, I cracked up everytime you couldn't remember a name in your retelling. True crime pods require buttloads of research and an actual script/outline to be decent. 🧐 Honestly, your retelling without remembering any names or years or whatever is pretty entertaining. There are already a lot of true crime pods out there. Your hilarious take on whatever media you've recently consumed is pretty good USP and doesn't restrict you to a genre. Maybe something like...Noah reacts to xxx or a "Noah talks about...xxx" instead? Anyway just a gentle suggestion.

LilacW

Oh! A few things cuz it was a long ramble: - Holy shit that bridge you and your friend crossed while inebriated sounds hella scary! Glad you made it. Whew! 😳 - I kinda wish I could see just how hot that police guy is who made you swoon. You couldn't stop talking about him for a while. Oof oof. 😏 - I worked with a Sam Potter. His dad's name is Harry. And they're British. Since he's an older chap, he liked to say he's the original Harry Potter. - And...we do say helicopter parents... sanctity of marriage... plus, a schlosser is a locksmith Thanks for the ramble, Noah! You kept me company all by my lonesome at work until my boss scared the bejesus out of me.

sydney

and thats why we drink crime podcast the best

Riley Aether

is it a good idea to start listening to this at 3:45am? no absolutely not. am i going to? yes. i'm simply a silly little british boy who finds your voice extremely comforting

Estefania

Haha amazing aventure, Noah fell for that guy👀 Love true crime stories too👌i think I hear the first one before somewhere, a yes to more of that if you want😌💗

Night_Nurse

I loved you ending by singing Good Charlotte. I love these rambles. Thank you Noah.

Carrie

I also decided to not get my master's... after 2 years of study and 6 months of an internship. I needed to do another 9 months of internship and realized that my mental and physical health were more important (I also worked full time). It's freeing once you have come to that conclusion, but it's painful. You are going places, I'm sure that you'll find other ways to be successful without all of the personal sacrifice. Hang in there, my dude.

Lo

Not me wanting to get into true crime podcasts after driving around my city and listening to Noah the stories he heard on a true crime podcast… lol

pupy

you’re so cute noah

Alice has escaped

Hiii Noah✨ i love true crime podcasts, but literally everything in your new year story really got me like SO hard lol Watching your bus passing by TWICE was a legend😂 And I’m so happy for you that you were actually following your heart, listening to your own voice about what you really want (or don’t want lol) and then making the perfect decision for yourself💗 Congrats👏

Rachel

It’s the best to listen to those podcasts(or scary movie)right before bed. You can pull the covers over your head and pretend the perpetrator is in the doorway and can’t see you as long as you’re still and covered up. I’m weird of course but I highly recommend this tactic for insomnia, acquired in my mid 30s lol.

Rachel

Also interesting to hear about American and Canadians leaving the back door opened. Maybe in the 50s, lol. Don’t know anyone who would do this now, unless they’d like to be a part of their own true crime story.

Emilily

Firstly, I'm super glad that you and your friend made it back safe. Your story was hilarious to listen to but I can't imagine how scary it would have been to be going through it. Secondly, it's great to hear that you've made a decision about your master's degree. It takes a lot of bravery to step back, evaluate and close the door to something without knowing what's waiting for you next. I hope your trip gave you a chance to recharge and that the next thing you pursue will make you happy. As someone who changed careers, I can tell you that it's worth it. P.S. Loved your retelling of the true crime podcasts. Did it matter that you couldn't remember names? Nope. Still enjoyable. Double-checked that my door was locked before bed though. Good night and thanks for sharing!

Abbie

It's crazy to think about some of the stuff people have done not to mention the lengths they go. Also, that last story reminded me of a crime episode I watched ages back and it was honestly just as awful lol

Sakiski

The true crime part was so intressting. Youre voice is so soothing and is perfect for asmr and podcast. AsmrPodcast about true crimes, would be a perfect combination.

Peach

Noah this was so fun to listen to! You should totally do more true crime stories even if you call people by the wrong name😂If you want to look for stories just for your own pleasure, there’s a lot of true crime threads on ✨Reddit!✨♥️

Rachel04

my friend and i do a true crime podcast called killer locale you should give it a listen!!

yajhaira

Haha I loved listening to this:) a shorter version of really long podcasts at least for me I get impatient sometimes when it comes to crime. I get why why do it but this was good! Thank you 🤌🏼

Ari

I watch Bailey Sarian's true crime series on YT. Her personality/way of telling stories helps to slightly distance the viewer from how dark a lot of the stories are without omitting info. It's like a friend who heard about a case and now she's telling you all the gossip 😂 Also, welcome back Noah! Glad you and your friend made it through to 2022, that New Year's story sounded intense!

Rachel

Regarding a question Noah asked in the livestream, I highly recommend the following creepypastas: The Quiet Sky(to read) and the Gravedigger had an odd conversation(youtube, Dr. Creepen).

pchbagel

Omgg yess!! I loveee True Crime!! I watch Stephanie Soo podcasts, Rotten Mango and Baking A Murder!! Definitely 10/10 recommend!!

Shortstacks

Facing the same existential crisis. I have to figure out what I want to write for my Masters thesis by June (my dumbass has absolutely no ideas so far). Every time I try to think about a Masters or PhD my brain decides its time to go hang out with Bill and Ted. My only hope is that my dudes provide the answer.

Theo

Listened to it twice during this week. I find your voice comforting and I'd love to hear more of your stories or podcasts. 🐦

sarah

yas, more true-crime-time with noah😊

Kenzie Karebear

I am one semester away from earning my associates degree and I've been having an existential crisis since two semesters ago. I'm screwed if I go further 😂 Starting school at 26 as a single mom was definitely interesting. I hope you have a wonderful year😊

my tummy hurts

JEANELLE POTTER. The YT channel, That Chapter (Mike), covered this very well. He also has a very lovely Irish accent.

Tiff

Felt- I have a BS in Psychology but instead chose to be a Yoga Instructor & Pres of a volunteer non-profit organization 😅

kira

I know this is an older post, but I really enjoy coming back to some of these sfw audios to listen to while studying or working. They're relaxing to listen to and keep me "company" . ❤

Briella

MORE TRUE CRIME PODCASTS!!!

Madrich29

True crime is amazing! I love talking about it with people

Jane Doe

My thoughts when I talk: "Am I talking too slow?"... "God, I feel like I'm talking too much"... "Where was I going with this?"... "Do I sound weird?"... "Do I sound like a phone sex operator?"... "Hm... I wonder if I could be a phone sex operator..." ... "Do people still do that?"... "He probably thinks I'm flirting with him but I'm just really nice"... "He doesn't look bad though..." ... "Wait, a minute, have I been talking this whole time???"... The struggle is so real Noah lol
