This one went through a FEW different drafts 😅 before I settled on the first one.

The others composition just weren’t giving me the impact I wanted. I felt I was closer with the angle from underneath, and finally felt the under angle from the side was working for perspective and storytelling.

Pulled my hair out a bit with this one tho ngl!

Hella dope to see your process and the iterations! Personal fave is the 3rd image because the mirror of the stabbed body (I actually haven't played so idk the name of the character) grasping the blade, compared to Laezel's victorious pose is a good balance to me. As opposed to just the severed head; the stabbed body gives it extra length for juxtaposition. Straight on would be especially difficult to pull off , I would think. A lot needs to be extremely exact in the background, no? To properly frame the characters. I'm just yakking on haha 😅 Superb art, as always 🤩 thank you for sharing!!
