I love the second to the last panel with the two angles, the dynamic upshot and then the down shot on Parts. And the last panel with their silhouettes is very evocative of Aaron Douglas, a famous painter from the Harlem Renaissance 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

So, I'm anticipating that Derek isn't going to "drop dime" on B.J. and what's going on with him...What I want to know is will he be drawn to "help out" his comrade in a manner similar to the two in the bathroom? And, I'd like to hear/see more of what happened to those two...Can they even walk at this point? Are they in the infirmary recuperating? Inquiring minds want to know!

Ahaaa one of the joys of size difference stories is you get to play with extreme perspective shots like that! (like the first shop scene in Heart Moves). Hadn't heard of Aaron Douglas before.. now I know and OooOoo might mimic some of that on purpose next time

Really sharp eye, Belasco! I also thought Aaron Douglas, which was a really nice touch (especially given how many of the Harlem Renaissance figures were gay/bi/queer). I also love how Badonkadonk plays with color subtly throughout; the images are mostly black-and-white and yet so much more. Now...counting down till next week!
