A poof button is an excellent way to describe this. I tend to think, "Well that method would be messy and the clean up would suck." Or "but what about xxx? That's be expensive to replace." Because you know, in my head, people would clearly care more about replacement/ cleaning than what led up to that. And I'd have gladly paid $1 for this comic. =)
