Matthew here with a call for all of the Canadians out there!

Our wonderful Canadian store Come As You Are is shutting off its affiliation program* in February, citing growing costs. We absolutely love the team over there and are a little heartbroken to lose them. BUT it means we're now on the market to swap in a new affiliate store onto OJST, and it'd be nice to replace it with another Canadian one!

I don't know our country-neighbor to the north all that well, SO I'm reaching out to see if any of you have recommendations for stores in Canada that you know and enjoy. Bonus points if it's run by amazing people who do awesome things in your community!

I'll pop back and check in on any names and links this week.

Hoping you are all staying warm out there! We just got past a winter storm out here in Portland and feel a bit like bears rolling out of our hibernation caves.

Thank you!

-Matt

*Erika here! For those not familiar with it: an affiliation program links our site to an online store, so when somebody clicks one of our affiliate links and buys something on that affiliated store, we make a small percent of that sale.

Venus Envy in Halifax already stocks your books, so they might be a place to connect with. Deep Fantasies YEG is local to where I live and make some fun things.

Seconding Venus Envy!

Good For Her in Toronto is great, as is Venus Envy!

The Ferret

Adding Venus Envy in Ottawa is a solid pick! Used to be my go-to when I was living there and they continue to be amazing on IG. Sorry to hear about CAYA, they're still great tho!

Sarah Button

Here to boost for Venus Envy (Ottawa and Halifax). The Ottawa store was destroyed by fire a couple of years ago, but they're still operating online and with a pick-up location in the city.

Seconding Good For Her I've also had a good experience ordering from PinkCherry

Adding a suggestion we received on Bluesky, so all the responses are in one easy-to-search list: Wicked Wanda's on Bank in Ottawa wickedwandas.ca

I'm here to rep Little Sister's in Vancouver! They're kind of a big deal because they won a Supreme Court case in the 1980s on the right to free expression of lewd materials!

I second Little Sister's! One of the nicest stores of been to as far as sex toys, and such a great staff, too. I really hope they do partner with you.

In Edmonton I would recommend the Traveling Tickletrunk. Their store is one of the most welcoming and inclusive, and I've definitely seen your books there too.

We're leathercrafters, retired now, who used to wholesale the gear we made to shops across the US, Europe and Australia. We used to sell to the Travelling Tickle Trunk - definitely good people to work with. Same goes for Venus Envy, in both Halifax and Ottawa. Pioneers of women-positive shops. Also Isis Exotica in Nelson BC and Honey on the other side of BC is fabulous - they both work hard trying to find and support ethically made, and ideally regionally produced, products. Unlike Pink Cherry.

They're a bit ethics-free product sourcing for my taste. Not a fan. Especially when there's so many better, more responsible, great folx out there to choose from.
