Okay, on my third listening of My Immortal, it is really annoying me that this girl doesn't tell me what Linkin Park song she's talking about! Do you even know them well enough to say? Why do you not care? I so would have called this girl (assumptions) a lame bad goth and a borderline poser back in the day. An actual Linkin Park song I'd fuck to doesn't come to mind easily. I detoured to a Bennington (RIP) solo project; he closed Dead by Sunrise 1 Out of the Ashes with a cool, relaxing track with a few eerie lyrics about being too close, In The Darkness. That's the best off the top of my head.

Why is it ... I hear how this guy 'wanted to write this since forever' (in first episode) and on this one, he's so exhausted that he wants to throw it in on writing long things. And, uh, it's not good. In fact, I dare to say that I could write this poorly without getting painfully tired, if I had that considerable 'just write bad' barrier gone (It does take a lot of work to get around that, tho). Why does his great struggle in making awkward art Comfort me? Because ... if I whip out something I've waited so long to do that I feel guilty about it, and try until I'm tired, and it's like THIS BAD, what if I posted it anyway? He did. It wasn't good, but we clearly found a way to enjoy it.

I suspect the person doing the Goofy story got so horny that their lizard brain kicked in an obliterated all their spelling and sentence structure knowledge. It gets noticeably worse anytime Goofy and Pete are in a scene. I wonder if they re-read the story and kept having the same effect or if they posted it immediately after the first draft. Like Dan said, there are some sentences that are impossible to understand.
