Thanksgiving Sides - Patreon Submissions

What sides did me miss in our Thanksgiving episode last year? They can be as strange or unusual as they come, we want to try 'em all!

Comments

JT

Your dad's kisses are the best side.

Kasandra VonGlockner

Favorite, is Deviled Eggs with mustard, mayo, vinegar and salt only.

lizzy wiz

I cannot WAIT for this episode. i know everyone’s gonna submit their nastiest ass recipes (including me).

Rainbowbotics

I sent my mom's casserole. It's so fuckin good. I hope they like it/try it!

Elyssa Lowman

gave my least fav. from a thanksgiving potluck at college that someone made and almost killed us all

Game Grumps

Honestly I think your dad's kisses might be even better

Blues

Cant wait to see some of these dishes and reactions!! Hoping to see a certain dish pop up 👀

Meredith

"Strawberry Pretzel Salad." The recipe I sent has to be from the 60s, at least, it's from my mom's mom. It's an 'anyone can access' link to a Google drive photo I took, hope it works!

Sarah Z (not that one)

Sent over my favorite stuffed mushrooms recipe. Trying to think of something weirder, though.

Meredith

Okay, I resubmitted the form, now the link should work, I totally linked the wrong Google drive image the first submission 😭

Isabelle Rosenblum

Submitted a classic Jewish recipe for Dan, some noodle kugel! Can't have Jewish thanksgiving without kugel.

ChickenSandwich

Hoping Skittles and Gravy makes it on the show ( -_-)

Jesse

I just recently tried mushy peas at a British pub restaurant. Not bad!

Desedeten

Some kind of cobbler, or dewberry pie Something southern.

Mallory Cleere

Kind of a side and a leftover thing. The classic NY Waldorf turkey salad. Kind of weird if you’re not in NYC, but amazingly good.

Hoogin

Smoked Boudin Stuffing

Abby

Frog eye salad

HoppyChef

“The Butthole Role” - I sent the recipe link

Joshua Ortega

Last year's thanksgiving leftovers

Maddison Dennis

I shared that too! Hopefully they try it 🤞🏻

Meredith

Awesome! Question, does your family argue whether or not it's a side for dinner or a dessert? Mine does, haha.

Hunter Wogahn

What about, and hear me out, sushi with gravy… gross I know but HEAR ME OUT; you do gross stuff :)

Buggy

At my mom's side of the family's thanksgiving dinner everyone got one dish made for them and my dad always requested Swedish Meatballs. He's no longer living but if y'all make some swedish meatballs then perhaps he will grace you with ghostly daddy kisses!

Denise Jay

Studenetz was always served with the appetizers on my Ukrainian side of the family. I never ate it for reasons.

Sarah Tasseff

Submitted Pineapple salad twice since I goofed the first link. The original recipe called for salad dressing as well. Ew. Only myself, my bf and mom will eat this(grandmas recipe but she has since passed). It’s family tradition. :)

Sarah Tasseff

Corrected by mom, not grandmas recipe, a 1950’s Betty Crocker recipe that my grandma used and adapted(left out the salad dressing thank GOD). 😂

Beef

Did anyone add Snoop’s Garbed Caramel?

Coffee Chrissy

Least favorite: Carrot and Jello salad with pecans and mini marshmallows

lizzy wiz

strawberry pretzel salad is famous in my family! we have it at like every family get together. we typically have as a dessert but my mom’s side of the family has it as a side!

Spice and Rose

My family makes Watergate Salad! It's pistachio pudding, a can of crushed pineapple, a whole tub of whipped cream, and a whole bag of the fruit flavored mini marshmallows. It's good, but it's a LOT

MamaSquirrel Hurd

in texas we eat tamales at christmas and thanksgiving

Brandon B
