No, Remake This!

Well, guess I’ve got to renew my subscription until they answer my question. They loot boxed all over me.

I recently watched the movie Flow. It's surprising really good!

A someone who just recently got into Magic I will say that I so far ONLY play commander. The reason for that is I play with 3 other friends so it’s great for all of us to play together and have Magic nights. Commander is also 100% easier to get people into the game. One built deck can have so many different outcomes since its 99 individual cards so every game plays different. I also like the idea of building around one creature who is my main guy. It doesn’t help that I come from the One Piece TCG which is that exact thing as well. I think of commander as having a board game night where you and your group are playing together. It can be slow for sure but when im playing with a group of friends I dont care how slow it can get cause we still have fun with it.

Arin is so right about the flavored Liquid Death

i am the *exact same way* about stuff like Severance. i missed the Lost hype train and never bothered to catch up

ZERO episode since Kyle referenced that train coming at the screen

As someone who has played magic for almost 30 years, I also only play commander. It's the most popular format by far. It's the most creative too. But, like D&D, it's very dependant on having a good group that works for you. Playing commander with randos is a weird idea to me. If you like competitive magic, commander has some of the most powerful decks. If you like creative deck-building, especially with weird constraints (e.g., every card has someone T-posing), commander is unbeatable. If you wanna hang out with two or three friends and chat for an hour, commander is the best. I don't view it as a format where the goal is to win, and that's odd to a lot of people. It's a format where the goal is to have fun. And, like D&D, you have to figure out what "having fun" means to your group.

So it sounds like it's not a very fun game at all. A frustrating game that you play ironically as background noise while you actually just hang out because you all know it and the format is broken. I don't want this to come across as a mean comment. That's how it sounds whenever I hear people talk about it. Like "play commander with me! It sucks, but it's fun!"

Liquid death is flavored with monk fruit and stevia root, not sugar, that's the whole point. It's for people like me who need to cut out sugars
