Toys R Us still exists - it did file for bankruptcy in 2018 and closed basically all its stores, but it came back recently. They partnered with Macy's to open stores-within-stores and with Macy's online storefront, but they've been slowly opening their own storefronts for about four years now. It's nowhere near as big as it was, but you can find their stores scattered across the states. KB toys on the other hand is still gone - a company that buys and reboots defunct brands announced they wanted to bring it back last year, but nothing concrete has come of it yet.

Toys R Us still exists - It's mostly just in Macy's stores, and Canada. Still miss the full-sized stores though in the US. I got hired to work for them mere months before they closed all the US stores in 2017 - I was not told they were closing, so that was great.

It's not just the bonus footage, you also get the uncensored videos that are generally more enjoyable to watch than on YT. This week's "extra" bits were fairly short though they're usually 10-15 minutes. But if it's not worth it to you then that's your opinion.

As a Californian who would tolerate ANY water temp as a child, I can smell and feel this episode. The sun being out, but it’s heat not quite reaching your shivery bod. Pool water that hasn’t been touched in months. It’s not so cold that it hurts, but it’s cold enough to be miserable. So you sit at the pools edge because your legs went numb ages ago, and at least this way you can get some warmth on your shoulders while kind of accomplishing your pool dreams. Just needs some leaves and bugs littered across the water’s surface.

This was probably one of my favorite episodes ever. So much whimsy and chaotic childlike energy from everyone. A pool will do that to ya
