I spend like ten minutes on each page just soaking up all the expressions, the dialogue, the lighting, and the backgrounds. Every single thing is done with such care, I swear it’s so easy to get lost in a single panel! This is such a touching scene, I’m so happy for Miharu for taking the first steps on this journey. It’s really hard to unlearn all your internalized hatred and shame, but so brave and beautiful when you keep trying. I see so much of my story in her — I only wish I had a Lorn at that time. I love how you’ve written the dialogue in such a delicate way. Lorn is so mature for his age, and I know that comes from trauma making him grow up too fast. All these kids have grown up too fast. I’m both dreading and intrigued to learn about Lorn’s past, but I’m sure, like with Miharu, his story will be told beautifully. For now, I will soak up this precious moment of friendship. It’s lovely to meet you Miharu ❤️
