Fully sketched storyboards for a cutscene from Act I of Chapter 3 are finally here!

You’re getting a first look at how this moment is shaping up — the pacing, the framing, the emotional beats. Even in this early state, you can probably catch a few hints about what’s going on… and maybe even where the scene might lead.

oh ho.. Fire goes where he please. and he very much does not want to go with 'that'. a Theory on my mind: (i will do my best not to spoiler anything) At the very start of act 2. we are given a Strange inky black dream. when we are about to awaken there was that, Strange circle that looks like the quick phase of the moon. and the noise of a Bell being rung. i wonder if we are close to the slough.

This is clearly not a good thing; I love the clear sense of danger and desperation here! (Also the fact that in the third set the person offering the ink star(?) looks simultaneously like Phollie and Kariom is not lost on me) I cannot wait to see the full thing!

Woah, I love how dynamic these storyboard scenes are! And also horrifying! XDD It looks like Roui and someone who may be Ervick was caught up in a trap set by Phollie, and Phollie used Ervick as some sort of sacrifice to bring that monster closer too Roui. Also, I think Phollie isn't actually there, and he/she/it's using the monster as a sort of portal(?) to bring an image of themselves in front of Roui to trap him - I doubt Phollie would want to be anywhere near Roui because of his Fire. The last few frames makes me think that Flynn has found Roui (given the chains and beads) and he's using a hand scythe to harvest Rouis horns. He could be doing this to take some of his Fire, but it might also be to make sure Rouis Shang/Fire won't ever escape his body from his horns in case he dies. There's a lot of stuff going on here, I can't wait to see how this scene looks when it's finished! 💛
