Isn’t it time to share some TCoL progress?
checks wristwatch
Oh. Right. Ten years late.
That’s what happens when you work too long on a world without time — you start thinking a decade is a reasonable delay.
My bad.

Jokes aside — we’ve made a huge leap forward with Chapter Three, Act I. At this point it genuinely feels like we’re building a whole new game inside TCoL.
If I had to put a number on it — around 65% done.

What’s left on the list:
• Additional sprite emotions for Ada, Ervik, and Kerv
• Finishing the Pier background
• The Flat intro cutscene
• The final cutscene of the act
• ~3 Flat backgrounds for exploration
• Several dialogue chunks (including optional chit-chat 👀)
• A few items
• 3 more Blacksmith music tracks

Sounds massive — and yeah, it kind of is.
But we’re aiming to wrap this up by the end of February.

Which also means:
✨ more alpha tests
✨ more WIPs
✨ more behind-the-scenes chaos
So stick with us — we promise it’ll be worth it.

A more personal note
The last few years have been… a lot.
Since COVID, there was barely any real rest, and at some point our brains simply short-circuited. We ended up needing psychiatric help, and only in the past few months — with proper medication — have we finally started crawling out of a long, severe depression and other mental struggles.

It’s been hard. But we’re here again. And working. And alive in the way that matters.

Those are some really good news :3 With not so good aspects,_," I got your VN on steam when the first chapter just came out, and instantly fell in love with it, it was so warm and cosy and damn even refreshing at the same time! I feel sorry about team's mental breakdown and appreciate the effort you're putting into this project no matter what happens! :3 Sincerely thankful, your ordinary fan •~•
