July Development Update (Patreon)

We’ve managed to get a surprising amount done on Act I of Chapter Three of The Crown of Leaves this month, while successfully juggling it with commission work. A few serious IRL problems slowed us down a little, but we’re still steadily getting closer to the next alpha build, and we should be able to share it with Melalo pretty soon :>

Backgrounds: only 4 left to finish in total.

Sprites: the only one still missing is Mira, along with her basic animations. We’ll be working on additional character expressions for the next alpha.

Texts: all the text for the points of interest in the Guild of Stillewalkers locations has been written.

Side quests: we’re currently working on two not-quite-secret branches of the main story.

We don’t have an exact release date for the alpha yet — we were roughly aiming for an update at the end of this month, but we may still move it to early August. Either way, it’s very close now! Stay with us and keep an eye out for new updates :>
