The Boy Beyond the Doors (Patreon)

We decided to draw more scenes from Kariom’s past. In particular, we wanted to show his adventures beyond the Doors: frightening at times, unpredictable, and yet exactly the kind of thing he lived and breathed.

For him, those journeys were never just a series of dangerous expeditions. They were almost a natural habitat — a place where curiosity always outweighed fear. Whatever challenges awaited him, he met them with excitement, eagerness, and impatience, as if every new step promised something extraordinary.

That was Kariom back then: an ordinary boy who knew exactly what he was capable of, and moved forward almost effortlessly because of it. Curious and fearless — as though the whole world beyond the Doors had been waiting for him to step into it.
