L: I probably put the most effort into her sprite, mostly because I made her eyes far too complicated, with several layers of overlays, highlights, and reflections. And I still can’t believe they look so simple in the end.

Still, seeing her finally come to life made all that suffering worth it. I especially love how much personality even the smallest movements give her.

Anyway, whenever you look into Mira’s perfectly ordinary eyes, just remember this completely useless behind-the-scenes fact: one (1) Lins nearly died animating them.
