Would love to see new expressions for Roui. I'm also interested in how the sprites on page 4 will play out once they are in game.

Look at all this content of my fav boi!! I love to see it. His expressions in the first one are so great. He looks sapped and drained, while doing a difficult and grueling task, or enduring some kind of pain for a greater cause. love the contrast between him and Flynn in the second too! I can’t wait to see what kind of dynamic those two have with each other. Also WOW the last one is my fav, seeing Roui in all those different hairstyles. I just love it when characters have different appearances over time. It really adds to their humanity and relatability. I also really see the anime/manga influence in the art there! I don’t know if this was intentional but the bottom right one reminds me of Kenzo Tenma from monster, especially with his hair and kind face. I feel relieved to know Roui will be alive and well after the events of the game!!

Great work! Are these from Chapter 2 act 3 or from Chapter 3? Also love to see the characters with different variations.

I don't really comment on Patreon. But I wanted to say the expressions always look very cool and unique with the character design.

Thank you very much for a such detailed comment! Shame on me, but I did never saw Monster. Just check Kenzo Tenma in google - it seems they really have something in common, though this concept is unused.

We continue to work on Chapter 2 Act 3, so all of these sketches (except Roui’s variations) are from it. Thank you!

lingrimm

Thank you very much! We appreciate that.

yess that unused concept really does remind me of him! also you're very welcome! i love to talk about roui <3 and aaa monster is great and i'd really recommend it. I feel like you would appreciate it given how tcol is written. it's a very compelling mystery/thriller anime with amazing characters c:
