UPDATE: The link above leads to the VoD for this stream!

--
After a bit of time to recover from PAXU, this week I am going to launch a stream series titled The Design Lab, which features more out-there ideas for modifications or additions to the Daggerheart rules. I'll be kicking off the series by introducing my idea for a new deckbuilding sub-system called the Inspiration Deck, focused on making it easier and more fun for players to engage with narrative prompts that let them have an impact on the story beyond just their PCs' actions.

To find out more, join me this Wednesday at 1pm EST at twitch.tv/turbotango or watch the following day on YouTube.

The Inspiration Deck: a Daggerheart Deckbuilder (The Design Lab)

Mike Underwood, Additional Designer on Daggerheart, invites viewers into the Design Lab, a stream series sharing their weird and experimental game design projects (mostly but not exclusively for use with the Daggerheart rules). This first Design Lab stream features the Inspiration Deck, a deck-building sub-system to encourage collaborative worldbuilding and storytelling. Intro & intermission music: "A Good Life" by Dark Fantasy Studio. Outro music: "City of Magic" by Dark Fantasy Studio. All songs used with permission. Watch future streams live at Twitch.tv/TurboTango and support Mike's writing and streaming at Patreon.com/MichaelRUnderwood or follow them on Bluesky @MikeRUnderwood.bsk.social This video is not official content of Darrington Press or Critical Role and does not represent the opinions or stances of anyone other than Mike themselves.
