Beta reader invite (Dec 2018) (Patreon)

For those not familiar with the term, I use beta readers to help me improve my work before it is published - I use a combination of beta readers and paid editors on each project whenever possible to make sure each story is the best I can make it.

Today I'm inviting you all to beta read the first of the season two Genrenauts stories, currently titled The Wasteland War. It picks up where season one left off and will definitely spoil parts of the first season. I'm looking for a few types of feedback:

1) What parts are the most exciting and interesting?

2) Did any parts drag or lose your interest? If so, where, and where did you perk back up?

3) Is there anything in the draft that was confusing or where anyone felt like they were going out-of-character?

Beta reader notes are often just a few sentences per topic, but if you're excited to give more substantial feedback, I'm happy to receive it. I don't always apply every note given from beta readers, but I do read them all and mull them over before moving forward with the draft. If you're planning to do a beta read, I'd love any thoughts by December 21st so I can move forward toward an anticipated pub date in early 2019.

I've attached the in-progress manuscript to this post. If you just want to read the early draft, that's fine, but I'd love any feedback you might have to make the final version even better!
