Updates! (Patreon)

Hi all,

After the first few months of this Patreon, I've taken a look at what rewards and incentives are connecting with folks and where I could do a better job of providing a range of options.

To that end, I've made some updates and want to break them down for y'all.

Since Oreo is very popular here, I've added a $2 level called Oreo's Posse and moved access to pictures of this incredibly delightful pupper to this level from the $1 level, which is now entirely focused on the essays.

The $3 level still gives access to the benefits from the previous level (which is now Oreo's Posse rather than Observer).

I've also added more benefits to the $20 level and re-named it to Book Lover.

Book Lover subscribers get an ebook copy of every book I self-publish (while they're subscribed) AND an ebook or signed paperback copy of every book I traditionally publish (while they're subscribed). Paperback copies only available to US and CAN.

They also get access to monthly Q&A videos about the craft and/or business of publishing, tabletop RPGs, making pizza, etc.

Plus everything from the Bladecrafter level.

Last but not least, I've decided to go ahead and unlock the Turbo's Table level, where patrons get to play in online TTRPG sessions run by yours truly! Turbo's Table had previously been a stretch goal, but since I've been very excited about RPGs lately and heard from more folks that they'd like to play with me, I figured it was worth making this available.

Each month that we have 4 or more patrons at this level, I will run a one-shot RPG with a rotating cast of players drawn from patrons at this level. We'll build unforgettable stories together across an infinite number of dimensions.

This tier is capped at 12 patrons, so you'll get to play *at least* once every quarter.

Plus everything from the Book Lover level.

I hope you'll check out the new and updated levels and see if you'd like to pick a new level and benefits. Having this community has been fantastic for me, both as a way to write essays on a regular basis and to connect with readers, colleagues, and fans more directly.
