A Break in the Heat (Patreon)

After what felt like months and months of heat, the recent rains have brought cooler weather to Baltimore. Both Oreo and I are grateful, since it is easier to take long walks when it isn't as hot, and long walks make him a happier dog and getting more exercise makes me a happier human.

I'm breaking ground on a new project, working through that process of getting to know the characters and finding the voice of the story. This one is scary and ambitious in ways that are new for me, but that newness is also exciting.
