Meet The Strange Friends of Duskwall (Patreon)

For most of the year, I've been playing in a wonderfully wild and chaotic campaign of Blades in the Dark for Speculate, the actual play show I co-host with Gregory A. Wilson and now Brandon O'Brien. The game is GMed by Brandon and features a custom crew sheet (The Fugitives) created by Brandon!

I play Ring Dalmore (using the Spider Playbook), a Skovlan Unification War veteran born and raised in Duskwall and haunted by what they saw in the war. Ring gets caught up in a conspiracy following the death of uncanny socialite, Runa Caspar.

The game has continually surprised me and shown how Blades operates outside the tight fly-wheel of Downtime -> Free Play -> Score -> Downtime.

It's been so much fun playing a longer-running game for Speculate and racking up more hours playing Blades itself after playing many hacks and spin-offs.

We have our last session of the year in a couple of weeks on December 20th at 7pm EST. All sessions stream live at Twitch.tv/ArvanEleron and then go to YouTube and our podcast feed.
