I'm Freeeeee!!! (temporarily) (Patreon)

I've been revising the same political sci-fi novel pretty much all year, having written the first draft from summer 2019. It was a hard novel to work on even before the pandemic started, and I've been making very slow progress ever since.

And this week, I finally hit the revision benchmarks I'd set for myself and sent the MSS to my agent for her editorial review. There's probably still a lot to do, but for a few weeks, that novel is not my problem. :P

I'm taking a few days off, then I'll be working on some combination of pre-production on a different project and some Genrenuats ttrpg stuff.

In pure coincidence that also feels narratively satisfying, it's turned to Autumn here in Baltimore (even if briefly), so I'm happy to have external change to match how I feel finally hitting this process milestone.

It was especially satisfying to make this progress because several other things are still very much in "hurry up and wait" mode. Some of those things may move forward soon, and when they do, I'll be sure to let y'all know.
