Potential New Region for Genrenauts RPG? (Patreon)

I've been chewing on possibly dropping the Western region from the Genrenauts RPG document - it's a genre with an especially fraught history, and I'd feel most comfortable having it written/reworked by a Mexican and/or Indigenous writer.

But, I want to have about the same # of genre regions in the book. So I'm pondering what to add. It should be a subgenre that's fairly popular (so there's demand from players to use it) and ideally a subgenre that I know pretty well (so not something like Cozy Mystery, Neo-Noir, or Xianxia). I'm also leaning toward something not inside the SF/F world.

I've made a poll below, but feel free to answer "Other" and fill in your own request. No guarantees that I'll take the winner of this poll as my answer, but I am curious to see what people are interested in.
