Short Updage + Valloward is a NJWF Early Selection! (Patreon)

Hi folks,

Winter is always hard for me, and this one has been especially hard, despite being not especially snowy. The frequent fluctuations between weather in the 30s to weather in the 50s/60s is also not great for my equilibrium and consistent energy levels. I'm working on a pitch for the Genrenauts RPG to start submitting to publishers as well as doing pre-production work on a new novel (with the hope of it being the first in series).

I do, however, have a fun update - Valloward, the Court of Blades series I produce and GM for Speculate! has been announced as an Early Selection for the New Jersey Web Festival, a web-focused film+media festival. It's the first Early Selection pick for 2023 in the Actual Play Video category, so it'll be screened at the festival and may be nominated for one or more of the awards in that part of the program (awards like Best GM, Best Ensemble, Best Music, etc.). We're all very excited and proud of the show.

If you haven't been watching Valloward, this is a great excuse to get started or to catch up.  You can watch the series at https://www.speculatesf.com/videos/#valloward and if you're a Speculate patron, there's some extra prep/worldbuilding videos exclusively for subscribers there.
