The Naked Gun - Full Movie Reaction!

Comments

William Terry

Naked Gun is best to watch while watching bunny. Her choice of a wavy hairdo is wonderful. The special effects in this movie are beautiful using sets and realistic miniatures, pre-CGI. It rewards repeated viewings. I brought up my second favorite Leslie Nielsen movie, but the title is Day of the Animals, not Night of the Grizzly. More Ricardo Montalban would be nice, good to know bunny is watching Wrath of Khan again.

"Young Frankenstein', "Airplane!!", "Blazing Saddles". Have you seen these greats?

Fantastic reaction Bunny really enjoyed this!😁

Ricardo Montalban was a fantastic actor he was on a show called Fantasy Island if you want to check out on your on time, he suffered from severe back problems if you watch Wrath of Khan again you’ll see he’s mostly sitting down,he was in Spy Kids 2 & 3 as the grandfather

Good job, Bunny! Those red snacks were pistachio nuts. Back in the 60s and 70s they were commonly dyed red. I have no idea why - I guess to make them more vibrant for increased sales. And when you cracked them open you got red all over your fingers (like orange from Cheetos.) You could also get "natural" pistachios which were undyed - the kind you commonly see tiday which are white. If you eat a lot of them, you end up with a massive pile of shells. On a long stakeout, maybe enough to block the car door. :-P The baseball game was filmed at Dodger Stadium, not the "Big A" in Anaheim where the Angels play. The Right Fielder was Reggie Jackson, one of the bigger baseball stars back in the day. The best movie to see like this one is "Airplane!" - the movie that introduced this style by the same Zucker /Abrams / Zucker writing & Directing team. It delivers the gags at twice the pace of this one!

Ricardo Montalban was Kahn in Strar Trek , he did a show in the 70s called "Fantasy Island" , and he did a Chrysler commercial for a car called a Cordoba , b boomers will remember when he said it had "rich Corinthian leather" w/ a Spanish accent , anyway funny movie , thanks again for the reaction , lots of love 🩷 🌹🌹

Zucker Abrams Zucker started with "Airplane" then 6 episodes of "Police Squad" which is what Naked Gun movies were based on. "Police Squad" isn't streaming currently but search YouTube for Police Squad and Funny Moments or Greatest Moments, and you will see many funny scenes from the show. I'm sure you would enjoy when Ricard Montalban was a guest on David Letterman's Late Night. He was willing to have fun with Dave and enjoy the interview. Search David Letterman Ricardo Montalban. It was from April 14, 1987.

Actually their first film was "Kentucky Fried Movie" - a skit film. Also, "Ruthless People" is a totally different type of film and brilliantly written - a perfect story. Both are highly recommended for ZAZ fans - but aren't as well known as Airplane, Naked Gun and Hot Shots franchises.

Oooh pistachio nuts!? Well that makes sense! Whenever my husband is snacking on them, this desk looks like of like how the inside of the car looks in the movie :D

Many people mentioned Fantasy Island when I posted the Wrath of Khan reactions. It's been on my radar and I hope I find the time to take a look at it!

They beat me to it but Airplane and Airplane 2 is this type of comedy on steroids from Zucker Zucker and Abrams kings of zany comedy plus more police squad movies but police squad the show was first also great
