Thanks bunny! Terrific reacts to an outstanding watchable season. I noticed when the eyeball was threatening Joe, as you were protesting, the screen was fluttering almost like a Wendy effect. Very cool! Kavalier had a great line, "it isn't who killed who" which brought me back to Monty Python and the Holy Grail (let's not bicker over 'oo killed 'oo); the writing and acting, as well as the plot, really made Alien: Earth. While bunny is correct that ST: TOS is more optimistic sci-fi, I think "real monsters" are a part of any good story, Kodos the Executioner, Charlie... On to the second season!

Matthew Graves (Graviton)

Well, thats certainly one way to end a season. In all seriousness though, there’s something of a tradition of sci-fi shows ending a season without wrapping things up in order to sort of raise a hue and cry from fans demanding more. In the case of Firefly and Farscape, for example, the creators were eventually able to get a movie or miniseries made. Hopefully they will just greenlight a Season 2 and we won’t have to wait long. It’s hard to judge much since almost every major question was left unanswered or at least open ended. In the end the only thing I can definitively say is that I was thoroughly entertained. I was right there with you expecting more from Kirsh. When Kavelier talked about his daddybot, my first thought was Kirsh but I think you are right. It makes more sense for it to be Baldy-jerk (google says his name is Atom Ein but I don’t remember it being said. Sure sounds symbolic. Something to do with Einstein? Ein is German for “one” so… Adam-one? Some Kind of Cowboy Bebop reference? Beats me) Another thing that struck me. The surface reading of the title is that the humans, not the aliens are the eponymous “real monsters”. But I sure got a chilling feeling from Wendy’s “Now we rule”. Hmmm… One thing I’m VERY sure of is that I had a blast watching this “with you” Bunny. Enhanced the experience tremendously. My sincerest thanks!
