I won’t lie. This one was a little hard for me to follow at first. I think mostly cause I wasn’t too familiar with the whole braindance thing (or just didn’t remember it) But I actually went back and watch it a second time and it all clicked for me. Snome very cool stuff going on once you get your head around the (obviously intentional and well executed) disorientation. The animation was especially impressive in this one. I dunno if you noticed but there was so much attention to detail that I’m pretty sure at points they actually drew reflections in Lucy’s eyes of things that were happening off screen. Crazy good stuff there. I think I see where they are going with the drama and themes here. Last episode we had David develop a relationship with Lucy, which gives him some emotional connection and purpose beyond mere survival. This episode shows him that using the Sandy is possibly a self destructive act. But the Sandy is the very thing that allows him to be a part of Lucy’s world. That’s some high level dramatic writing there. Very impressive. The whole braindance thing reminds me a lot of a 90s Sci-fi movie called Strange Days. It’s pretty good and worth a watch if the concept interests you. Oh, and happy Thanksgiving Bunny!

I don't remember noticing any reflections in Lucy's eyes, but very impressive if they did all that! I've not heard of Strange Days. I'll jot that one down! Also, I hope you had a good Thanksgiving!
