All 24 photos are available in the 3rd tier or for purchase in the store!Hello everyone! Storytime.I got all ready to do a photoshoot late December, but was dreading it all day and it put me in a depressive mood. When I went to put on the outfit I planned to wear, there was an issue with it. I couldn't bring myself to do the photoshoot and spent hours prepping only for that time to be wasted.Several days ago, I once again spent hours to prepare for a photoshoot, only to feel really cruddy in anticipation of doing it. I put on the blue TNG costume and it was too big. Frustrated, I went to husbando saying I was thinking about not continuing to do photoshoots. He asked why and I didn't know the answer myself. I didn't know why I was dreading to do the photoshoots for the past 5+ months. I thought hard about it and came to a couple conclusions.1. I'm not happy with where I am with my weight. It may only be 10 pounds more, but I just don't feel confident. No matter how many people tell me otherwise, if I don't believe it myself it can never be true in my mind. Human brains are silly that way.2. Husbando has been helping me take the pictures, and that's been a big help to not have to do it by myself like I was for a long time. The issue is that I can't see myself in the preview when he's taking them because he obviously needs to see it. I don't know how to pose this way, and we both get frustrated by this. Also, husbando often takes pictures from unflattering angles, leaving a lot of the photos unusable and making me feel pretty cruddy. My solution is to get a mirror where I can see what my poses are looking like.3. I have a large backstock of outfits that were purchased for me by community members on my Throne. I've been trying to use them all but as I use the ones that I like and feel the best in, I am slowly being left with a pile of outfits that don't fit me quite right leaving me feeling very unenthusiastic about the whole thing.Husbando is very supportive and has made it clear that he's more than willing to spend as much time as needed to help me with this. We have decided to spend some time going through the remaining outfits and seeing if we can make them work in some way. We'll do this ahead of time, instead of the day of. Those that can't be made to work will not be used. As bad as I feel about it, some of them will just have to be shelved. Going forward I will be purchasing more things for myself, and being more selective when it comes to fan suggested outfits. I have to really think hard if something will actually work with my body type before deciding to purchase or allow others to purchase it. If I decline your suggestion, most likely it's because I don't think it will fit me correctly.I will do my best to go back to being more consistent with the frequency of the photoshoots from here on out.

Bunny we respect your feelings. You look great in my opinion. It sounds like your husbando is a nice man who is sensitive about your feelings. Make sure he gives you lots of hugs.

I always thought it was really cute that you did photoshoots. I admit I haven't been paying much attention lately, though. There just haven't been any outfits that have been my cup of tea. Except the Spellbinding Witch. That one was great.

Beautiful as always! Tho I don’t recognize that particular TNG uniform. Is it from First Season?

It can be hard some times writing in to people with advice because if you tout your own successes too much that can really turn people off. But if you don't tout them at all then people can also say: what makes you think you're qualified to be giving advice? Soooo ... for me, I was addicted to chocolate chip cookies (two 600 gram bags of Chips Ahoy! per week, or about 2 1/2 lbs. worth), and had climbed up to 201 lbs. at about age 40. After many years of dieting and exercise after that, I settled in at about 145 lbs., where I am now. But on one occasion I was JUST able to hold 132 lbs., for about 2 days, just to see if I could do it. So in all total that would be just under 70 lbs. I lost (201-132). THE SOLUTION: for every single thing I eat, including ALL products purchased at the grocery store, I calculate the percentage of fat per hundred calories. (I actually take a calculator into the Safeway store with me to do this all the time when I shop). So, e.g., if I was thinking about some light donuts for desert, I have on the package label: "Calories 170" / "Fat 7 g". So 7⨫170=0.0411, or just over 4%, for that donut. Then, basically, the rule is: you can NEVER EAT ANYTHING OVER 5%. 6% is absolutely fatal (this would include things such as pizza, Kentucky Fried Chicken and chocolate cake, unfortunately). Anything around 2 or 3 is great. 4 (as in my donuts above) is tolerable as a treat, but should have some exercise later to balance out. Then avoid, if possible, ANY situation where you wind up really pigging out (especially on the 6's) unfortunately, for, e.g. special occasions, if possible. Try one special every 3 months max if you can. (E.g. I can do out to dinner at a Chinese restaurant, but I can't order the Ginger Beef, which I love, because it's too fattening). LOTS of success can come from just following these small rules, though it's still a life-long journey. After this then it would be really hard dieting, which I'm familiar with as well, but that would only be if no success with the above. So -- GOOD LUCK! We'll be cheering you on!!
