That was amazing! I was a Rush fan in Junior High and High School. My favorite song was Fly by Night! Thks April for sharing with us!! It was a joy to watch!!🐰🐰

John DiGiantomasso

Love that tnumbnail - you look so good, natural, pure and happy there!

My gosh, it's so precious seeing you happy and experiencing something you enjoy! And all your fits are so cute!

Wow I can't wait to watch your Vlog about this. Rush was my first concert. I drove down to Philly with my girlfriend from college in upstate new york. I'm not sure I remember the after midnight hyped and frazzled drive back. To this day one of my favorite all time bands.

Matthew Graves (Graviton)

VERY cool! You obviously had a great time. I'm happy you got to experience that! Getting to see one of your favorite bands live really is a memory to be treasured for a lifetime, and Rush puts on an amazing show. Very cool concert T-shirt! Sadly, I wore my Roll the Bones concert T so much as a young man that it's long gone now. It was nearly disintegrating before I had the heart to throw it out. Interesting that you are also a Garbage fan. I saw them on their tour for the Version 2.0 album. Also a great show, though obviously much smaller in scale than a mega-legend band like Rush. They also sounded great live and Shirley looked incredible. Oh, and Kudos to Husbando for helping make this dream happen for you. That's a good man!

Aww man, your poor shirt! I LOVE the Roll the Bones album! We ALSO saw Garbage tour 2.0 in 2018 for the 20th anniversary of that album!

I appreciate the added Canadian content Bunny. It's been a bit thin around here sans Jimmy Doohan and The Shat!

I asked a friend how much a ticket cost back in 1984 he said 16 dollars . Hope it was not more than back then

Squeesher

Even adjusted for inflation, which not many remember to do when ppl tell you how much things used to cost, that's around 51 bucks today. I suspect the tickets today were a good bit more than that too!

MertzRocks

Glad you got to see them! I wish I had seen them more than just the once (Signals tour), but I rarely had the money to go. 😭 I've been a fan since 1976 (2112 album), fell in love with the 1st 3 records when they were re-released as Archives, and so my favorite RUSH era is '76-'80 (2112 thru Exit Stage Left). I kind of lost touch with them after that as the keys started taking over in the 80s, plus I was involved with my own band from 1984 thru 2014 (most active from '89-'04) - a punk band called The Fred Mertz Experience (hence, my handle is Mertz). I'm a guitarist so RUSH emphasizing keys (at the time) kind of rubbed me wrong, but I now like a lot of the songs from that era too (of course! It's RUSH!) I can't afford 350 bux (minimum I have seen) for RUSH tix at MSG so I won't be going. I'll just have to live vicariously through your eyes and ears, and other peoples' too... Keep on rockin' April Bunnytails - rock on down the Bunny trails! 😘💕 🤘😎🎸 Carl

Nice Vlog you put together. Glad you had a great time! I have a lot of memories in that place going back to when it was still called the "Fabulous Forum."

bunnytails

It was definitely a bit more than 16 dollars :P
