Anya's lab designation was "Test Subject 007", and now the dog's name is Bond. The name of the Bond Girl in the 1977 James Bond movie "The Spy Who Loved Me" was Anya Amasova (played by Barbara Bach). Lots of homages to the king of the spy genre here.

Ooh! I never thought of "Spy" as being a genre but now that I think about it, it's a genre I know pretty much nothing about. Maybe I should watch some James Bond movies at some point...
