Hot Mamas :)Note: I accidentally recorded the mic audio with reverb on. Clamp came to the rescue and cleaned the audio up for me! If it sounds a little weird, that's why. I'm a doof.BIG THANKS TO CLAMP FOR SAVING THE DAY AND EVERYONE'S EARS.

Thanks to Clamp for his work on this! And no worries about what happened Bunny, it was still fun to watch! Those girls were amazing, but the dresses even MORE so! Seeing this episode as a young teen for the first time made quite the impression. LOL

There is only one kind of women, or man for that matter, either you believe in yourself or your don't. You may not be really beautiful but your confidence will be attractive.

This is no doubt one of the quirkiest more experimental episodes, also what I view as the last of the early handful of transition episodes since this is the last we see of Uhura in her gold uniform. I love your voice bunny, you already look like a goddess now you sound like one! ;)

To answer you question, The ship is powered by anti-matter. The "Di-Lithium" crystals are used to contain the matter - antimatter reaction. This concept will become more clear in future episodes.

um...yes, you are overthinking Star Trek, and there are a lot of moral lesson episodes in all of Star Trek. Please remember....this came out in the '60s

I was even younger than that the first time... no older than 8 but don't remember exactly. While I was too young yet for THAT kind of reaction reaction, ;-) I was still somewhat smitten. XD

As for what Mudd gets out of the arrangement: he gets paid by the miners for delivering willing wives to them. Or he would have had he not been arrested. Not sure if that ever gets resolved. This episode was an attempt at the moral "beauty is on the inside." I like this episode because it's entertaining. The acting and dialogue were pretty good as well, especially for the time.
