So, the first episode you watched in this batch is the special episode that takes place in between episodes 4 and 5, but it came out after the original 13 episodes already aired. A lot of people were confused how Violet became so good at being a doll so quickly in episode 5, so this special episode bridges that gap and explains why she got so good at being a doll so quickly. It's about 10 minutes longer than a traditional episode and of course it comes with plenty of EMOTIONAL DAMAGE. I love episode 5! I really like that Violet takes matters into her own hands and has Charlotte write to the prince from her heart. Clearly, Charlotte is in love with the prince while the prince is mostly doing this for his kingdom (probably). My favorite part of the episode is Charlotte's goodbye to Alberta, though. For Charlotte to bow to Alberta and take her hand (which causes even Alberta to tear up), just so beautiful 😭😭😭 Leon's story is heartbreaking (you'll see that a lot in this show lol), but I love the fact that he's inspired to go for his dream of traveling by Violet. Also, in the light novel that this show is adapted from, Leon confesses his love to Violet despite knowing that she loves the major. I didn't actually read the light novel, but I did hear about that little tidbit after I watched the show for the first time. More EMOTIONAL DAMAGE with the playwright and the story about his daughter. For him to lose his wife and daughter to what is likely the same illness just breaks my heart 😭😭😭. Then, for Violet to ease his pain, even if just a little, makes my heart sing! Then we're left with Violet's turmoil 😭😭😭 I know, terrible cliffhanger I left you on, but have no fear as episodes 8-11 will be done in July 👍 Prepare for more EMOTIONAL DAMAGE
