So, Violet Evergarden and the Auto Memory Doll takes place just after the main series ended (you can hear Violet mentioning events that occurred during the main series; sorry that the subtitles would cut out sometimes; not really sure what happened there 😅), then 3 years after the 3-month period that takes up the first half of the special. By the end of this special, Violet would've been around 17 or 18 years old, so she's done a lot of off-screen growing up. Amy and Taylor's story is both heartbreaking and heartwarming ❤️❤️❤️ The journey these 2 undertook on separate but intertwining paths is a joy to watch, even with all the EMOTIONAL DAMAGE lol. Also, not sure how old Amy is, but I think it's safe to assume that she's somewhat close in age to Violet. One of the many reasons I love this special is because Taylor helps to reinvigorate Benedict! He was clearly getting tired of delivering mail before Taylor barged into his life with full force lmao. The movie is the last bit of Violet Evergarden left for you. Not sure how I'm going to request it, though, since it's 140 minutes long, a full 40 minutes over the max request time. I guess we can talk about that more through DMs. I'm glad you enjoyed getting emotionally destroyed by this series thus far!
