Yeah, the Limit Burst mechanic is only activated where the player that gets it is left with one character (previous character defeated). It allows the opportunity to go from a level 1 super into a level 3 if they have the meter to do so. Since this special mode is strictly 1v1, that mechanic isn’t active.
