I think I had a stroke hearing you trying to read the description for TADC Ep 8.

So to better explain why Vergil tends to behave like a petulant child who “needs more power”, I have to explain his and Dante’s past since certain things aren’t clear or properly explained until later in supplementary material like graphic novels and such. The short version is their Father, Sparda, rebelled against demonkind by separating the human and demon worlds thousands of years ago. Unsurprisingly the demons didn’t like this and their current ruler, Mundus (he’ll become relevant soon), waited a few thousands years until Sparda had two children with a human woman. These children would be Dante and Vergil. Discovering this, he sends a gang of demons to go and kill Sparda and his family seven years after the twins were born since he’s since been weakened after dealing away his power. Sparda dies, his wife is murdered, and it was thought that Vergil died as he wasn’t in the house during the attack. Now in DMC3, Vergil is in constant search for more power so that he is never left powerless to fight back again. Now to get started on the next game in the timeline, the first Devil May Cry. Despite missing the stream, at least someone was there to explain portions in my stead.

Did he do every TADC episode or only the recent ones? I can’t find the first 6 to save my life. I looked for over half an hour 😭

gh0xttherebel

I did, but there are spread across various livestreams. Not sure what happened to the Patreon search function...it's a bit wonky now

Jittercritter

Seems like every platform has a borked search function nowadays haha. I’ll have to try to find them later, thanks. Love your reactions man!
