Man, that animation of Qifrey defeating the dragon goes so hard! That just goes to show how much more effective a master witch is than 4 apprentice witches. These young girls did very well though, each of them bringing their own unique talents and skills to the table. The way Qifrey looked at Nolnoa at the end of episode 5, though... Coco's that extrovert who adopts an introvert (Agott) into her fold and wears her down with friendship and kindness lol. It's very wholesome that Coco got to meet Olruggio, the creator of the spell that made her fall in love with magic

Instead of throwing hands, Qifrey threw water like a water bender and showed that dragon who's boss lol. Apparently, the water isn't golden-colored in the manga, but the anime had to throw in something a little extra. Also, when the water crashes down onto the ground, it shapes itself into a flower showing Qifrey's destructive and soft sides with the same spell. I love that the girls decided to make the dragon comfortable instead of trying to overpower it.
