This entire editing process took 24 hours, which is the most I’ve done on a single video… Ever!

I am extremely proud of the product, but I am extremely tired in a good way. I’m still going to be working on the Patreon Custom Request videos for this week, but I know all of you have been waiting for this video. Thank you so much for your patience and kindness and I hope you thoroughly enjoy what I came up with for this finale.

I mean you can get mad at Ironwood all you want but the point stands that the group kept very vital information from him for a long time. His reaction is entirely justified towards team RWBY. Also the whole situation with Tyrian is entirely Robyns fault. She attacked first despite being told she wasnt being targeted.

Loved your reaction, as always! You should keep in mind what Cinder said during her fight with Penny and Winter — “You Atlas elites are all the same! You think hoarding power means you’ll have it forever…but it just makes the rest of us hungrier! And I refuse to starve.” It has a WHOLE new meaning once you’re about halfway through v8. Also, Ironwood’s downfall is always so interesting to me. If you look at his past, all the way back to v2, he’s always been controlling and quick to use force. We can tell by how Winter and the Ace Ops were trained that he doesn’t tolerate any dissent or defection. I always saw his downfall, especially in the face of one of his biggest fears, as making complete sense. As for Qrow…well, we all can see how utterly betrayed he felt by Clover choosing to arrest him. He obviously has to carry the guilt of teaming up with Tyrian. I personally think his last words to Clover, “James will take the fall, I’ll make sure of it” were pretty ooc. Qrow always feels so guilty about how his semblance affects others, much less directly making a choice that lead to the death of a close friend, so the fact that he wasn’t apologetic or even reassuring in Clovers final moments seemed off to me. But his cry of anguish at the end of the chapter gets me every time. Get some rest, especially for your voice! Can’t WAIT to see what you think of v8!

Ironwood spent his time trying to do what he thought was right and finally put his trust in others just to be proven right. Then cinder goes ahead and uses his PTSD from beacon against him and Salem was the final piece needs to send him spiraling out of control causing him to regress to what he knows and trusts best, himself. His actions may not have been right but under the circumstances I understand where he is coming from

I think the saddest part is that the worst parts of himself were highlighted consistently. He was always someone to handle things with force, overly controlling, and closed minded. He was doing better in a lot of ways, but the perfect storm lead to him snapping. From my perspective it was inevitable—he was a character doomed to fall apart. Once he felt too out of control, he was bound to snap and become increasingly irrational. It sucks, but i pretty much everyone did what they thought was best from their own experience. After being betrayed at Haven and seeing how much Ironwood was cracking down on Mantle, I get why they were hesitant to tell him the truth. I don’t blame them for that hesitation, and in a way, they were right. Once things felt too hopeless, too out of control, he snapped. It was just a terrible, awful situation. I think pretty much everyone made at least one decision that was made with the best intentions but ended up screwing everyone over. It was the perfect storm.

Ozpin's speech about fear is one of my favorite speeches ever, right up there with Sam's from LOTR talking about the stories of old. If I could suggest something though, go back and pay attention to Ozpin's speech before reacting to the soundtrack. Reason being that there is a song in there based on Ozpin's monologue and I think it'll hit different if you fully grasp the monologue first. Other than that, great video as always. Looking forward to Volume 8.

Penny really had an accidental transgirl reveal narrative in! freya was the blue fairy to her pinoccho and answered the question that yes she's a real girl!!!! the bees combo was one of the best fights ever and I love that team rwby trust each other enough that they can wordlessly fight together one like the Ace Ops
