Woohoo episode 3 so far seems to be my favorite but I'm sure that'll change but omg my baby Weiss and that summon part was absolutely beautiful she looked like an angel 😇🥰 and the team attacks chefs kiss 💋. That whole jaune being the king is a stretch lol I thought you were gonna say the cat was the king or something lol. Each episode keeps bringing more questions though like what did actually happen to the king? One of the soldiers said it was because of their kind I am assuming they mean humans, but that didn't really explain what happened I'm just so curious on where this story is going. I was shocked how they just casually killed off those two soldiers by beheading idc that they were toys that was morbid, god that also reminds me of the food fight where Nora said something about off with team rwbys heads 🤔🤯 now that I think about it there was a lot of references to Nora and queens I wonder if that has some importance now, now I might be stretching 🤣 but come on they even had Nora say/singing when she grabbed the chess piece "I'm queen of the castle, I'm queen of the castle" 😅 Lord neo is already hitting different this vol I dunno why, maybe since she seems like shes gonna be a big bad in this one, she seems thirsty for blood even more than before and I don't know if she killed that poor jabberwalker or not 😬 and it also seems cinder is on her to kill list even more now as well.

My biggest question is how much time has passed on remnant while they’re in the Ever After? Personally I think 1 Day in Remnant-7 Day’s in Ever After or the other way around

Great as if Neo wasn't hard enough to deal with before now her semblance has evolved as well making her even more dangerous *sigh* I hope one of or all of the girl's semblances also evolve cause there gonna need it if they want to have a chance at beating Neo with the advantage she has now.

I don't think neo's semblance, i think the place is amplifying her semblance

Neo's semblance has actually always been able to create physical constructs that interact with the world. That's actually how "Neo" first appeared, as an imaginary friend that later became physical because of Neo's semblance and then later took over Neo. Though Neo isn't her real name. Not her given name, anyway. This information is covered in the novel RWBY: Roman Holiday. The book helps to inform Neo and Roman's relationship and will probably also inform her character arc in Volume 9, as well. Actually, that might be a fun thing for you to check out. Do a series called "Graveyard Storytime" or something and read the different books in livestreams. Three novels, a comic series, and a picture book that collects a bunch of different in universe fairytales. Edit: There's also a bunch of offical non-canon manga you can read, as well as TWO RWBY/DC crossover books. One came out a couple years ago and one is coming out like right now, I think?

Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorite fairytales, so I'm definitely enjoying our time in the Everafter. I feel bad for the Jabbwrwok though 😬 you know he got MESSED TF UP

Ruby still doesn’t have crescent rose, Weiss has been low on dust since chapter 1 and now Blake is out of bullets. I’m SO curious as to why their lack of resources is being enforced and so nervous for our girls in later fights

Michaela -- I like the idea of them having their physical resources depleted and having to rely more on their creative weapon use (which used to be more of a staple of their fighting style), on teamwork, and on their semblances. Together with the emotional development they are being put through, I think all of their semblances are going to come out of this place richer, deeper, more intricate than they came in. I loved Ren's semblance developing in a completely unexpected way, that made total sense for him in hindsight -- I hope we get something similar with our girls.

I love it! I agree with everything you said and I hope we get to see their semblances evolve like Ren’s(and even Neo’s!) just something I observed during this watch that made me take pause but I’m excited to see where it goes! I think limiting resources is such an effective way to build up the characters and the team!

This episode has marked the moment where someone has overtaken Blake as my favorite. The way Weiss stunted on those chess pieces blew me away. The way she was losing her mind over the nonsensical world in the previous episodes already had her quickly climbing the ranks for me.

Attention all member of Remnant: we have a problem. Do I dare utter plothole...but..how does Neo have Hush (her parasol)? Cinder kicked it off the bridge while Neo was hanging on the edge. Yet she landed holding it. And when she was fighting Ruby as they fell she didn't have it then either. So how did she land holding it yet Ruby and Blake had to look for their weapons?
