Massive update (Patreon)

So, I’ve been doing a lot this week!

First of all, how have y’all been doing?!

I’ve already said this via the Patreon lens, but I wanted to make a proper post just in case the lens aren’t some peoples’ forte.

“9-5”

So, with me going into the office to work once a week, I’ve stumbled across a good observation. I get completely brain fried after my shift and it leads me to just relax the remainder of the day. There have been times where after my shift, I would want to stream, or at least have the excitement to stream, only to be completely wiped out. In comparison, when I work from home, I can take my time and adequately plan out things even during my shift. So, I’m taking this as an observation that whenever I go into the office, that’s one day down for the week of doing creative things. It’s good though, because at least I can structure out a proper schedule going forward.

“Website + Etsy store”

The website is being updated slowly, but surely, but it’s not published yet. I’ve been making subtle changes on each page and at the same time trimming down what’s not needed. Still have some edits to do, but for the most part, I am very satisfied with his revamp. All of this came in the form of me finally establishing my Etsy store to start during merch. Boy oh boy…with me updating my site, it caused a bunch of branching into other things only to circle back to me continuing on the website🤣 but I finalized my T-shirt options down to three main colors with the biggest variations coming to the glitchXgrave words. Still have a lot to do with those like modeling the final products myself, and making my store look “ready” for launch. I’m really excited, but at the same time, I’m extremely nervous, but that’s the thrill and risk I take with stuff like this…but I welcome it😈

When everything is ready, the store will be on the site as well for easier convenience.

“Music work, or rather updates and cleanups”

With me updating my website, I noticed that I had many music platforms that I don’t know still utilize my music or they’re completely outdated. Whatever the case may be, I’ve slimmed down my music platforms to the main ones, but I also noticed that I could implement using Canvases to my music on Spotify! For those that aren’t familiar with Canvas, it’s the animated backgrounds to songs that artists have. I didn’t know I could do this, but I had been applying Canvases to certain tracks on my artist profile. For example, if you look up “What Color’s In Your Cup?” on Spotify on mobile, you should be able to see me dancing in the background 🤣

I love that I can finally do this, and it brings a bit of flair to myself as an artist. It’s the little things honestly☺️

I’ve also implemented, or rather added, lyrics to all of my songs on music platforms…and this was an incredibly tedious endeavor. I didn’t realize how outdated some of my words had been for so long, and I had to go through a rough review process for each song several times over… And I’m implementing “synced-up lyrics“ to my songs as well. So, if you search up my music on platforms, like Instagram or even TikTok, my lyrics should sync-up in time with the song. All of this took so much time, but I’m glad that it’s taken care of and there is a level of satisfaction with that.

Some of y’all are probably like “what the fuck am I reading right now?“ 🤣🤣

Just updating y’all on my personal life since I really don’t talk about it. I’m actually incredibly private when it comes to telling people what I’m excited about.

But ANYWAYS, that’s what’s going on so far! I’m still trying to figure out the Patreon system going into April, and I can’t wait to finally come up with a resolution. Also, working on merchandise and figuring out when I can work on that is a challenge, but I know I can do it! Thank you all for rocking with me through everything, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.
